China Children and Teenagers' Fund (CCTF) is the first charity organization founded since the establishment of the Peoples Republic of China. Under the leadership of All-China Women's Federation, CCTF's mission is to care for, foster and educate children and teenagers, and to assist in developing the education and welfare of children and teenagers, especially in the impoverished regions of China. CCTF is highly regarded by the leadership of Chinese government.

Children are particularly vulnerable to the threat of critical illnesses and accidental injuries. However, a nation-wide systematic financial assistance to help their medical expenses has not yet been established in China, as many of these children are not covered under the current social security and welfare system. There are 30K- 40K new leukemia cases in China each year, and about half of them occur among children. Unfortunately, more than 70% of these children cannot be treated properly simply because their family cannot afford the expenses for medical treatment. The disease has claimed many young and promising lives, leaving bitterness and grief to their families.

Within this context, CCTF recently established the China Children Insurance Foundation (CCIF) to help children with critical illnesses/injuries. CCIF has built a charity platform through an innovative combination of insurance and traditional charity activities.
